On Thursday, October 26, 2017 members of the Scholars Academy Magnet for Business and Law had the opportunity to testify before the Joint Legislative and Citizens Committee on Children at the State House. The group discussed possible legislative changes to laws surrounding human trafficking and minors electronic communications. After the meeting, they were able to spend time with chairperson Representative Shannon Erickson and discuss ways to keep all of South Carolina’s children safe and healthy!
