This fall CAT and AVID partnered with Catawba Trail Elementary for the TRAILMATES Mentoring Program. They leave Ridge View at 7:45 am on late start Wednesdays and travel to Catawba Trail Elementary for a morning of reading, tutoring and building relationships with the students in grades K-4. One CAT student said, “This is great, I really enjoy interacting with the younger students and I find it interesting to see how different they learn from me when I was a kid.”
