Congratulations to the Blazer Rifle Team AGAIN!!! On October 19th, the team traveled to Nashville, TN to participate in the Montgomery Bell Rifle Classic. The Montgomery Bell Rifle Classic is a national level competition where shooters from across the nation come to represent the best shooting sports have to offer. This is also the first time Ridge View's JROTC Blazer Rifle Team competed in this competition.
The Blazer Rifle Team competed in two events -- Three Position and Standing International Position. They fought hard throughout two days of intense competitive shooting; and eventually ranked 7th in the entire nation as a team. Not only did they achieve national ranking but two of the team members, Zacori Ross and Justin Turrentine, shot well enough as individuals to make the Top 100 National Shooters list.
Let's congratulate the Blazer Rifle Team, which includes Justin Turrentine, Tatiana LeGrand, Zacori Ross, Joseph Rivers, Joseph Guider, Deion Pitts, Timothy Holden, and Nichelle Rodriguez.
