Let's congratulate both Lacey Robinson and Ms. Anne Colgate. Lacey recently spoke to Ms. Carolyn Click, writer for The State newspaper, on civil rights in Columbia. If you don't know Lacey, our student government president, believes it is important to learn about civil rights and the history of our nation and city because of its connections to today.
Ms. Anne Colgate wrote an letter to the editor on her thoughts about City Council voting for a boutique city instead of using the Bull Street State Hospital as a means for providing a home, job, and place to receive services for our homeless and mentally ill.
