November is Homeless Awareness Month. Spring Valley H.S. is hosting a presentation entitled Homeless Not Hopeless: Monologues of Homeless Youth. The stories presented will be those of our very own Richland Two homeless, or how we prefer to refer to them, McKinney-Vento, students. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, November 12th at 7:00 PM. The cost is $2. All proceeds will go to aid in emergency assistance to students and families here in Richland Two. This will be a very powerful presentation and will give you good insight into how some of our children are living at "home."
