Two Blazers were recently named South Carolina Teaching Fellows. Terricka Leverett (pictured left) will attend The College of Charleston to major in Early Childhood Education, and Alexis McAllister (pictured right) will attend USC-Upstate to pursue Secondary Education. As SC Teaching Fellows, they will receive up to $6,000 in annual scholarships for four years while completing a degree leading to becoming a teacher. This scholarship provides up to $5,700 annually for tuition, board and direct education expenses and up to $300 annually for planned enrichment programs.
