The Carolina Alliance for Technology (CAT) students continued their one-to-one mentoring sessions on December 1st and 2nd. During these sessions, the students focused on career exploration, goal setting and getting to know their mentors. At the end of the sessions, we had the mentors introduce themselves to the group, name where they work and give a brief job description of their current job. They were also asked to say something positive about their personal life or the mentoring session. The students then would introduce themselves and mention something positive either in their personal life or about something they learned during the mentoring session. The students will meet again with their mentors in February!
