ATHLETICS: Boys Track 2nd at Armed Forces Cavaliers Relay

On March 12th, the boys Track & Field team competed in the Armed Forces Cavalier Relays at Richland Northeast. The boys placed 2nd overall. Some of the outstanding Blazer performances included:

• 1st Place: the 4x100 Meter Relay (44.15) of Tyler Mitchell, Devon Witherspoon, Davion Easter & Shemar Hinson
• 1st Place: 4 x 200 Meter Relay (1:34.89) of Tyler Mitchell, Shemar Hinson, Devon Witherspoon & Vinson Bowman
• 1st Place: 800 Meter Sprint Medley(1:40.42) of Tyler Mitchell, Devon Witherspoon, Davion Easter & Steven Lemon) 
• 2nd Place: Bryant Foster 2nd in the High Jump (5' 10")
• 3rd Place: Tyler Mitchell in the 100 Meter Dash (11.37)
• 3rd Place: Darnell Grice 3rd in the High Jump (5' 8")
• 3rd Place: the Distance Medley Relay (11:41.74) of Quenton Washington, Kaleb Thomson, Brandon Jackson & Justin Rose

The boys will be back in action tonight vs. Blythewood at home starting at 5:30 pm.
