ATHLETICS: Boys Cross Country Wins Region Championship
The Ridge View Boys Cross Country team secured the Region III-AAAA title on October 21st for their first region title since 2010. Justin Rose was the individual Region Champion with a time of 17:39. He earned All-Region honors along with Logan Zeis (18:26) and Brandon Jackson (18:29). The Ridge View girls were paced by Paola Fernandez (24:52). The team placed 6th overall. Both teams will be competing on October 28th in the AAAA Mid State Qualifier at Sandhills Research Center. The girls will race at 10:00 am and the boys at 10:30 am in the hope of qualifying for the S.C. State Championships.
