The Varsity Football team closed out the regular season with a 28-21 loss to York, but will be back in action next week for the first round of the playoffs. The Blazers (8-2, 3-2) were led offensively by senior running back Ali Kelly, who rushed 23 times for 191 yards and two touchdowns including one for 80 yards. He also added 2 catches for 18 yards. On the defensive side of the ball, USC commit Damani Staley registered 3 sacks. Staley finished the regular season with 21 sacks to tie the school record that he set last year. Despite the loss, it was a special night as the team recognized its seniors. During half-time, the senior players were escorted by their parents and a teacher of the player's choosing.
