- Update your Chrome browser on your Chromebook, desktop, and/or laptop once a week by opening a new tab and entering chrome://chrome in the URL box. Your Chrome browser will begin to update automatically. When it is finished it will ask to close your tabs and then it will reopen them for you.
- Make sure that you sign out and shut down your Chromebook every time you use it!
- Make sure that you fully charge your Chromebook daily. NEVER let it get below a 50% charge. You should power it on every day, even if you are not using it that day.
- Always keep your Chromebook in your case when not in use. 100% of all damaged Chromebooks this year have had a broken screen!
- Never use your Chromebook to charge another device, such as your phone, iPad, etc. as this will ruin your battery.
